Meet Mrs.Hicks

A little about me....

The 2024-2025 school year will be my eleventh year teaching at Moody ISD and my fourth year in 5th grade Science. I am married and have two children, Makayla and Jaydin. I love animals and have a zoo at home. I am the proud owner of a German Shepherd, Corgie, two cats, a sugar glider, parakeet, Red Earred Slider, and a 125 gallon tank of fish. We have a pet hamster and fish tank in the classroom. 

A few favorites:

Candy- Midnight Milkyway, Brookside Dark Chocolate covered fruit, or any dark chocolate, Nerd Clusters

Snack- Pretzels, spicy peanuts, Spicy Doritos

Scent- Clean, coconut, the smell of Fall or Christmas

Color-Yellow, bright blue, green, purple

Flower-Sunflowers and Lilies

Drink-Sweet Tea, Water, Big Red, COFFEE

Restaurant- Georges, Chick Fil A, Whataburger, Starbucks, Deja Brew, Free Birds, Texas Road House, Panda

Store: Hobby Lobby, Amazon, Target, Michaels

Season: Fall or any of the "ber" months (September-December)

Holiday: Christmas followed very very closely by Halloween. I love decorating for the holidays.
