The MMS Library collaborates with teachers to achieve the educational success of the student body.  Our goal is to engage the students by promoting carefully selected literature and encourage lifelong habits of reading and learning.  We offer a wide range of books, access to online databases, online catalogs, research tools, and websites.  

Library Catalog 

MMS Library Catalog can be viewed online. Click the Library Catalog tab on the right corner of the page to search the catalog.   You will also find many helpful and informative research tools and websites on the catalog page. Feel free to explore and utilize these links.

Library Checkout Policies

Students may check out 2 books at a time. Books are check out for up to 10 days and renewed once.

Accelerated Reader Program

MMS Library supports and utilizes the AR Program as an incentive for reading.  Each student is given the opportunity to reach their 100% AR goal for the year. The reward for 100% goal achievement is an incentive field trip which will be awarded in May. We also award small treasures from the treasure box as students reach 10%, 50%, and 75% of their goal.

Top Reader Challenge

The MMS Library rewards the Top 10 Readers of the year with an incentive day trip.  

Moody Community Library

The Community Library is a great resource for our community.  They have large selection of books, an online catalog, and computers for public use.  They also provide a copy machine, and fax services.

Please remember that not every book is right for everyone. If a book offends you in any way, return it and find something else. You are the only person who knows what is appropriate for you.
